The Red Sox debuted these red alternate jerseys in 2003 and were meant to be worn on weekend home games. Fan favorite Nomar Garciaparra sported this jersey during the 2003 and 2004 seasons. I purchased this as a 2004 game issued jersey and my hunch is that it was made up for Normar before he got traded to the Cubs. Selling as team issued as it does not come with a letter or certificate of authenticity.
